New love

Belle and Sebastian. Have heard tracks here and there but now quite addicted to their stuff. My housemate's a big fan so rubbed off on me.

The snake and the guard

Was walking back from the bus stop and saw a snake in the bushes just outside the condo. Was impossible to tell how big it was because it was mostly hidden. I told the security guard, and he got quite excited, relating how at another condo where he worked, somebody had seen a white python on the bonnet of a car, and that number had won a prize at 4-D. He also told me about how little he earned, and seemed unsure if he should be calling pest control because it was actually good luck to see a snake. Hmm.. in the end, let him sort it out.

Good start

Well things got off to a good start. An old contact landed me a writing job in Siem Reap as he works for an airline. Thing is I just booked a ticket there yesterday, since I didn't get to go anywhere last month. Either way it's a good way to start off what I hope will be a good year.
